numb

i've been stabbing my heart hundred times
that i'm numb
i've been hurting myself thousand times
that i'm numb
i've been falling over and over again that i hit my head and broke my brain so badly
and i'm numb
my heart is numb
my body is numb
my brain is numb
i can't feel nor think
except one
YOU

Ode to a Nightingale

My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk,
Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains
One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk:
'Tis not through envy of thy happy lot,
But being too happy in thine happiness, -
That thou, light-winged Dryad of the trees,
                In some melodious plot
Of beechen green and shadows numberless,
Singest of summer in full-throated ease. O, for a draught of vintage! that hath been
Cool'd a long age in the deep-delved earth,
Tasting of Flora and the country green,
Dance, and Provençal song, and sunburnt mirth!
O for a beaker full of the warm South,
Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene,
With beaded bubbles winking at the brim,
                And purple-stained mouth;
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen,
And with thee fade away into the forest dim:
Fade far away, dissolve, and quite forget
What thou among the leaves hast never known,
The weariness, the fever, and the fret
    Here, where men sit and hear each other groan;
Where palsy shakes a few, sad, last gray hairs,
    Where youth grows pale, and spectre-thin, and dies;
Where but to think is to be full of sorrow
                And leaden-eyed despairs,
Where Beauty cannot keep her lustrous eyes,
Or new Love pine at them beyond to-morrow.
Away! away! for I will fly to thee,
Not charioted by Bacchus and his pards,
But on the viewless wings of Poesy,
Though the dull brain perplexes and retards:
Already with thee! tender is the night,
And haply the Queen-Moon is on her throne,
        Cluster'd around by all her starry Fays;
But here there is no light,
Save what from heaven is with the breezes blown
Through verdurous glooms and winding mossy ways.
I cannot see what flowers are at my feet,
Nor what soft incense hangs upon the boughs,
But, in embalmed darkness, guess each sweet
    Wherewith the seasonable month endows
The grass, the thicket, and the fruit-tree wild;
    White hawthorn, and the pastoral eglantine;
        Fast fading violets cover'd up in leaves;
                And mid-May's eldest child,
The coming musk-rose, full of dewy wine,
The murmurous haunt of flies on summer eves.
Darkling I listen; and, for many a time
I have been half in love with easeful Death,
Call'd him soft names in many a mused rhyme,
    To take into the air my quiet breath;
Now more than ever seems it rich to die,
To cease upon the midnight with no pain,
While thou art pouring forth thy soul abroad
                In such an ecstasy!
Still wouldst thou sing, and I have ears in vain -
To thy high requiem become a sod.
Thou wast not born for death, immortal Bird!
    No hungry generations tread thee down;
The voice I hear this passing night was heard
In ancient days by emperor and clown:
Perhaps the self-same song that found a path
Through the sad heart of Ruth, when, sick for home,
        She stood in tears amid the alien corn;
                The same that oft-times hath
Charm'd magic casements, opening on the foam
Of perilous seas, in faery lands forlorn.
Forlorn! the very word is like a bell
To toll me back from thee to my sole self!
Adieu! the fancy cannot cheat so well
As she is fam'd to do, deceiving elf.
Adieu! adieu! thy plaintive anthem fades
Past the near meadows, over the still stream,
Up the hill-side; and now 'tis buried deep
                In the next valley-glades:
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
Fled is that music: - Do I wake or sleep?

Aren't you afraid?

When the night falls and earth covered by darkness

aren't you afraid??

that tomorrow might not come

that the sun might feel tired and decided to stop shining

that the world would stop spinning around and just stood still

that you will stop breathing, and your heart stops beating, and your blood stop pumping

that you won't have another chance to see your love ones
to tell them how you love them

that you don't have more time to do good and fix mistakes you've made

so tell me,

aren't you afraid???

Coz i am....

be thankful 2

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

rain of june

Nothing is tougher than the rain of June.
It keeps its own little miss to that flowered tree.
Nothing is wiser than the rain of June.
It vanishes its own foot traces which was doubtful along the way.
Nothing is more kind than the rain of June.
It lets what was untold absorbed by that flowered tree.

you and rain

it's the second day of november...
and rain, where are you???

i miss november rain
and i miss you
says you'll be home by november

i'm waiting,
waiting for the rain
waiting for you

need to feel your warm fragrance
while the cold rain's running through my skin
walk with you hand in hand
counting the rain till the drops end

bare feet
we step the path
and the naked rain
makes us wet

through the rain
we hold up tight

i miss you
i miss the rain
i'm wating for you
waiting for the rain

In My Prayer/ Dalam Doaku

(taken from "Hujan Bulan Juni" 1989)

in my prayer this morning you became the sky that the whole night did not close its eyes, a spotted spread ready to receive the first light, a curve of silence in wait of sound/

as the sun drifted above my head, you became in my prayer the tips of pines, eternally green and forever provoking abstruse  questions to the wind that hisses from direction unknown/

in my prayer at dusk you become the sparrow that fluffed its feathers in the mist, alighted on the branch and felled the tassel of guava flowers, that in sudden excitement flew away to alight on the mango branch/

this evening in my prayer you become the distant wind that descended ever so slowly, tiptoed down the path and slipped through the cracks of the panes and door to press its cheeks and lips against my hair, chin and eyelashes/

in my prayer tonight you become the beating of my heart that has so patiently endured what seems limitless pain and faithfully revealed one secret after another, the unending song of my life/

i love you, and for that reason, will never stop praying for your well being/

Aku mencintaimu. Itu sebabnya aku takkan pernah selesai mendoakan keselamatanmu

"i know how tiring it is"

to my creative teachers
"i know how worthy it is"

to my inspiring teachers
"i know that i'm truly inspired by"

fall again

i miss you now and then
truly i hate myself when my mind is overwhelmed by the thoughts of you
without knowing whether you are thinking of me or not

just like today
when i started my day missing you
i tried to get my mind rid off it
so i started to remember all the stupid things you did
the way we yelled at each other
the reasons you made me cry
the simple things that you did wrong
the hatred that i felt for you

coz you're not here
coz you're not around
coz i miss you like s***

then i give up
the harder i try the deeper i fall
you made me..

then i realize that
the more that i hate you the more that i love you
i hate myself for loving you this much and more
i hate myself coz i could fall for you over again

17.5.09

it's just too much

have you ever been in love?
so much deeply in love
desperately in love

that was the moment when....

you can't pass a single day without him/her besides you
you can't identify yourself without putting his/her name on it

you lost yourself in his/her charm
you lost your way when you're not holding his/her hand
you lost your mind when you stop thinking about him/her

you care so much about him/her
you care so much about being with him/her
you care so much about making him/her happy
you care so much about showing him/her how deep your love is

in his/her eyes
you see your faith
you see your future
you see the real you
you see your heaven's being created
you see your dreams come true all at once

yes i have

once i was desperately in love

then i realized that it was just too much

too much love
too much to care
too much to bear
too much to share

then...

i'm too afraid of falling
i'm too afraid of failing
i'm too afraid of hating
i'm too afraid of loosing
i'm too afraid of cracking
i'm too afraid of everything or nothing

so, i let it go

they say, i should just let it flow
but i let it go

once and for all
i've ever been in love
that much
and it was just too much

i only need this much

should it be paid cash?

when we buy something at the grocery
should it be paid cash?
yes.

when we shop a gown at the boutique
should it be paid cash?
yes.

when we buy a new car
should it be paid cash?
yes/no.

when we buy a new house
should it be paid cash?
yes/no.

when we become a shoulder to cry on
should it be paid cash?
no.

when we solve ones' problem
should it be paid cash?
no.

when we ache someone's heart
should it be paid cash?
yes/no.

when we ruin somebody's dream
should it be paid cash?
yes/no.

when we buy something
when we do something good
when we do something bad
should it be paid cash?
yes/no.

is it given?

love
L.O.V.E

is it given?

if it is given
shouldn't it be a free choice for every living being
shouldn't it be the true human rights

if it is given
should be there any rules to control it
should be there any boundaries to limit it

if it is given
should we say it is right or wrong
should we judge it is good or bad

if it is given
then
it is given
we receive it
just the way it is
with open hand
open mind

if it is given
then
it is given
we accept it
just the way it is

all we need is
to see it
to feel it
to use it
as LOVE
only LOVE

between you and him

here i am
lying between you and him
it is you that i love
it is he that pouring all the love for me
it is you that i miss
it is he that fulfilling all my story
it is you that i adore
it is he that makes me a princess
it is you that i want
it is he that holding me tight in his arm
it is you that i dream of
it is he that occupies my reality
so
here i am
lying between you and him
i always wanted to be yours
but it is he that i belong to

there is love

Love is when your lust is fed.
When your dreams come true outside your head.
When the sun above you smiles and nods.
And you've found real peace against the odds.
Love is when your heart is tumbling,
when you feel the earth beneath you rumbling,
when you pray and light shines down upon you,
and you sparkle with hope to all around you.
Love is when you found a place,
where you filled with joy an empty space.
when your words are true and you speak with pride,
And you leave spies mouths open wide.
Love is what you breath and eat,
when you feel it tingle down to your feet.
When you look in ones eyes and you see your fate,
and know from now that life will be great.
Love is when the angels smile,
when you dream of mermaids in the Nile.
When anything you doubted is suddenly clear,
and peace of mind replaces your fear.
Love is what we dream upon,
when we're stuck and don't know how to move on.
When its your very hands that shake,
and you know the next move you should make.
Love is here in front of your eyes,
just look, you'll see I speak no lies.
Love's all around you ,inside and out,
cuz if God is there then love is about!

i'm sorry

i said i'm sorry

for not loving you as much as you do
for not loving you as lovingly as you do
for not loving you as sincerely as you do
for not loving you as deeply as you do
for not loving you as long as you do

i said i'm sorry
for loving you just this much
for loving you just the way i do

i said i'm sorry
so often i feel complete without you
so often i feel free without you
so often i feel happy without you
so often i feel comfort without you

i said i'm sorry
so often i feel i don't need you
so often i feel i don't feel you

i said i'm sorry
would you please forgive me??????

students like you

so many thoughts and feelings that i have for my students
i really am a teacher
but i learn a lot from my students
suppose i can say a word or two to thank them
to show them how worthy they are to me
but the following poem
may have glaring presentation of mine
to my students
who are like YOU

Students Like You

With students like you, teaching is easy
I look forward to each day;
Your wondering minds keep me on my toes;
You make teaching more like play.Students like you make teaching rewarding;
When I go home, I’m content;
You pay attention, you learn—giving me
A sense of accomplishment.Thank you for being the way you are,
For making my job so much fun.
I’ll remember how good you made me feel,
Even when my teaching is done.

By Joanna Fuchs

a teacher for all season

i read this poem
to encourage me of my destiny
to keep up faith
to still believe
that
i'm a teacher

A Teacher for All Seasons

A teacher is like Spring,
Who nurtures new green sprouts,
Encourages and leads them,
Whenever they have doubts.
A teacher is like Summer,
Whose sunny temperament
Makes studying a pleasure,
Preventing discontent.
A teacher is like Fall,
With methods crisp and clear,
Lessons of bright colors
And a happy atmosphere.
A teacher is like Winter,
While it’s snowing hard outside,
Keeping students comfortable,
As a warm and helpful guide.
Teacher, you do all these things,
With a pleasant attitude;
You’re a teacher for all seasons,
And you have my gratitude!

Remember Me

In a far distance away
We're holding and longing to each other
Counting the nights without
Wondering of how many days should we wait for each other hands
To reach
To hold
To be
Together

In the darkest night you've sailed
Through the hardest day I live
You and I
We
Just Remember.....

I love you
I don't remember how to forget you
